About Westend Beauty Clinic
Westend Beauty Clinic was established in 1990 by its Proprietor, Ann Gillespie,is situated in the Quayside shopping centre, Sligo, and offers a vast array of beauty treatments from its Dermalogica and Decleor products.
The salon is luxurious, fully air conditioned and our spray tan rooms are fully ventilated. The salon has a relaxing chilled out atmosphere, scented candles, warm beds and highly qualified and experienced therapists to look after your every needs.
- Hair removal services include, waxing, Threading, Laser and IPL, Selectif Pro ultrasound.
- Facial treatments are Decleor & Dermalogica facials, CACI non surgical facelift & Futur-Tec, Crystal Clear microdermabrasion & Oxygen facials, Medical micro needling.
- For lovers of Organic products we stock Germaine De Capuccini Naturae range and their beautifull Organic facial.
- In our nail clinic our services include manicures & pedicures, Shellac & minx nails, Acrylic & gel nails, nail art and we offer the amazing Fish pedicure also.
- Relaxing treatments include swedish body massage, reflexology & Decleor body treatments.
- Slimming treatments include Body action vibration plate, Quantum Cellulite, fat burning & toning treatments.
- In our Lash bar services include , Tinting, individual & strip lashes, semi permanent lashes, Myscara semi permanent mascara.
- Fake tans are ST.Tropez, Fake Bake,Sun FX. Organic fake tans are Vita Liberata & Karora.
- Jane Iredale mineral makeup & Royal Effem Italian make up are what we use for the perfect finish.
- For a more permanent finish we offer Permanent make up including eyeliner, lipliner and eyebrows that can last 3 to 6 years.

The Sligo Wedding Specialists
The salon has one of the largest selection of beauty treatments available for brides in Sligo today. One of our highly trained staff members if booked well in advance can do your makeup at home on you big day. We have two complete packages on offer but you can also put together a package tailored to suit each bride. Bridesmaids, the mother of the bride and groom are also very important and we have designed packages to suit them also. Go to our bridal section to see suggested packages. As well as catering for weddings why not visit our salon for your Hen party. Sligo is a very popular destination for hen parties as it has so many activities and beautiful places to offer.
Ann Gillespie
Ann graduated from the Loriam College of Beauty in 1989 and one year later took over the Westend Beauty Clinic. The clinic started as two treatment rooms and one sunbed. In 2006, we moved to a new larger premises and have 9 treatment rooms, 2 spray tan rooms, a nail bar for 3 clients, a make up area for 2 and still one sunshower.
Ann is dedicated to offering a professional service and the most up-to-date treatments available.
Tracy Connolly
Tracy has worked at Westend since 1999. She completed her training at Georgina's College of Beauty in 1994 and has since added to her vast experience by doing at least one course per year. She is a very competent therapist with a friendly and caring personality. Bridal make-up, body wraps and treating skin imperfections such as broken veins, age spots, etc. is her main area of expertise.
Amanda O Brien
Amanda has worked at Westend since she completed her training in 2003 at the Fermanagh College, Enniskillen.
Amanda is extremely professional and has a lovely quiet personality.
She loves all aspects of the beauty industry especially CACI non surgical lifting, oxygen therapy and threading. She is passionate about eyebrows and getting the perfect shape.
Shona Doherty
Shona has been working at Westend since May 2007. She qualified in 2004 from Senior College Dun Laoghaire.
She has a friendly outgoing personality. Shona is passionate about the beauty industry and is qualified in all aspects of beauty.
Dermalogica skincare treatments, fake tans and false eyelashes are her speciality.
Sandra Maye
Sandra has worked at Westend since 2005. She studied at Georgina's College of Beauty in Galway.
Sandra is the friendly diva and fashionista of Westend. She is an expert in the latest make-up trends and facial treatments along with good skincare advice.
Louise Daly
Louise qualified from Georgina's College Of Beauty in 2002 and has been at Westend since September 2007.
She has a friendly personality and is very good natured. Louise's favourite treatments include anything to do with nails, manicures, pedicures and sculptured nails.
