About Westend Beauty Clinic
Westend Beauty Clinic was established in 1990 by its Proprietor, Ann Gillespie,is situated in the Quayside shopping centre, Sligo, and offers a vast array of beauty treatments from its Dermalogica and Decleor products.
The salon is luxurious, fully air conditioned and our spray tan rooms are fully ventilated. The salon has a relaxing chilled out atmosphere, scented candles, warm beds and highly qualified and experienced therapists to look after your every needs.
We offer a complete range of services from the specialised eg. Lazer (intense pulse light), microdermabrasion, oxygen, permanent make-up, non surgical face lifting and the new hair removal system, Selectif Pro, to basic treatments that are waxing, Threading, Decleor & Dermalogica Facials, manicures, pedicures, sculptured nails, makeup, false lashes, spray tans, body massage and slimming treatments. We also have a Doctor who specialises in injectables, ie. Botox and rystelene fillers.

The treatments
The salon offers a full range of beauty treatments, including eye treatments, facials, pedicures, manicures and makeovers. To add to your relaxation, the salon has a heated bed, candle lit room and soothing, relaxing music.
Ann Gillespie
Ann graduated from the Loriam College of Beauty in 1989 and one year later took over the Westend Beauty Clinic. The clinic started as two treatment rooms and one sunbed. In 2006, we moved to a new larger premises and have 9 treatment rooms, 2 spray tan rooms, a nail bar for 3 clients, a make up area for 2 and still one sunshower.
Ann is dedicated to offering a professional service and the most up-to-date treatments available.
Tracy Connolly
Tracy has worked at Westend since 1999. She completed her training at Georgina's College of Beauty in 1994 and has since added to her vast experience by doing at least one course per year. She is a very competent therapist with a friendly and caring personality. Bridal make-up, body wraps and treating skin imperfections such as broken veins, age spots, etc. is her main area of expertise.
Amanda O Brien
Amanda has worked at Westend since she completed her training in 2003 at the Fermanagh College, Enniskillen.
Amanda is extremely professional and has a lovely quiet personality.
She loves all aspects of the beauty industry especially CACI non surgical lifting, oxygen therapy and threading. She is passionate about eyebrows and getting the perfect shape.
Shona Doherty
Shona has been working at Westend since May 2007. She qualified in 2004 from Senior College Dun Laoghaire.
She has a friendly outgoing personality. Shona is passionate about the beauty industry and is qualified in all aspects of beauty.
Dermalogica skincare treatments, fake tans and false eyelashes are her speciality.
Sandra Maye
Sandra has worked at Westend since 2005. She studied at Georgina's College of Beauty in Galway.
Sandra is the friendly diva and fashionista of Westend. She is an expert in the latest make-up trends and facial treatments along with good skincare advice.
Grace O' Brien
Grace has worked at Westend since January 2007. She qualified in beauty therapy from the Coen Cantrell College Galway in 2000 and went to Dublin to gain a wealth of experience.
She is friendly, very chatty and enjoys getting to know her clients . Grace's speciality is waxing, specialised waxing, threading and electrolysis (permanent hair removal).
Louise Daly
Louise qualified from Georgina's College Of Beauty in 2002 and has been at Westend since September 2007.
She has a friendly personality and is very good natured. Louise's favourite treatments include anything to do with nails, manicures, pedicures and sculptured nails.
Currently on maternity leave, Louise, post-baby will be sending us her photo soon!
